The trailer for actor Karthi's 25th film, "Japan," a heist comedy written and directed by Raju Murugan, was released recently. The trailer sets the stage for an intriguing story.

In the trailer, Karthi's character, Japan, narrates a tale about a small fish in the ocean that begins by digging holes for various creatures, including crabs, scorpions, and crocodiles. As the fish continued to dig countless holes, it grew into a massive whale. This allegorical story parallels Japan's transformation from a small-time thief to a notorious robber.

The trailer suggests that Japan's criminal activities escalate as he becomes a master thief, ultimately stealing jewels worth Rs 200 crores that belong to a politician. As he is pursued by law enforcement, Japan is forced to confront the consequences of his actions and fight his way out.

The film also stars SunilAnu Emmanuel, Vijay Milton, and Jithan Ramesh in pivotal roles. With music scored by G V Prakash Kumar, the film has cinematography by S Ravi Varman and editing by S Philomin Raj.

Furthermore, the trailer hints that "Japan" is based on a real-life notorious thief who was involved in multiple robberies in Tamil Nadu and Chennai, adding an element of realism and intrigue to the film's premise. Fans of Karthi and those who enjoy heist comedies will likely be looking forward to the release of this movie.
